The year-long Platinum Jubilee celebrations have begun throughout the United Kingdom, the Commonwealth and around the world as communities come together to celebrate The Queen’s historic reign on the throne! There will be many events and activities celebrating the Jubilee across the United Kingdom in the months leading up to the special extended bank holiday weekend from Thursday 2 to Sunday 5 June 2022. Communities are set to celebrate in style this summer with plenty of street parties organised throughout this special time in our history.
Members of the Royal Family will travel around the UK to undertake a variety of engagements to mark this historic occasion concluding with the focal point of the Platinum Jubilee Weekend in June. After reaching an incredible 70 years of service, Her Majesty deserves a celebration fit for a Queen!
